Subscriptions on NMI
WooCommerce Subscriptions with NMI
PaymentDash saves each customer’s card in the NMI customer vault and charges renewals automatically through WooCommerce Subscriptions.
How renewals work
- At first checkout the customer’s card is saved in the NMI customer vault, never on your website.
- On each renewal date WooCommerce Subscriptions asks PaymentDash to charge the saved card.
- If a renewal fails, the customer can update their card from My account and the subscription carries on.
What you can manage
Everything you need to run a subscription or membership store on NMI.
- Change renewal dates, amounts and payment methods
- Pause, cancel or reactivate subscriptions
- See saved cards that are about to expire, before renewals fail
- Pre-orders with WooCommerce Pre-Orders: charge when the product is released
- Saved bank accounts for eCheck renewals, if your NMI account supports eCheck
Why the NMI customer vault matters
Because cards are stored by NMI, you can charge a customer over the phone from the dashboard or move between plugins without asking them to type their card again. Your website never holds card numbers.
