Keep taking payments if NMI is ever unreachable.
- Turn on a second payment method in WooCommerce, such as Stripe, Square or PayPal.
- In PaymentDash go to Settings → Store & payments → Backup payment method and choose it.
If NMI cannot be reached or returns an error while you take a payment, the screen explains that nothing was charged and offers Finish with your backup. Your store’s secure pay page opens for the same order with only the backup method, you enter the card there, and the dashboard updates by itself. Declined cards are never sent to the backup.
